Bridal Squad Tips: How to Introduce Bridesmaids?

Back List

Your wedding is you once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to have your loved one be present on the same day. From your family, high school/college best friends, and colleagues. Besides inviting your loved ones as your guests, your bridesmaid’s squad is the group of important women you have met in your life. No matter how many bridesmaids you have on your team. It’s very likely that not everyone knows each other. We have listed out a few ways on how to open an introduction to your bridal squad and some fun things to do together.

1. Set Up Group Text and Group Chat

If your BFFs are everywhere around the world/states, this is the best way to communicate. Plus, it ensures everyone has each other’s contact info. This ensures that everyone can be updated about any changes and things they should be cautious about on your big day.

Your Maid of Honor would need to be in the groups because she would be your most helpful announcer/coordinator for all things wedding.

2. Break the Ice and Start the Intro

Introducing each person’s roles, so everyone is on the same page. Remember that you (Bride) don’t have to get involved in everything! Do allow some room for creativity and surprises. Our ice breaker is definitely sharing funny memes on the group (well, don’t spam the chat). Besides, doing the very traditional tell 3 facts about yourself, sending memes in the group chat can easily ease the unfamiliarity among your bridesmaids.

3. Make Some Fun-Fact Booklets

Design an interesting questionnaire and ask your BFFs to fill it out. Put their photos and fun facts into a booklet and share with them. It could be an actual booklet, like a yearbook or a digital edition (eco-friendly option). A digital option would be best if your bridal squad is scattered across the country/globe. Imagine this can be the year book for your wedding!

4. Set up An In-Person Gathering

It’s not easy to work with everyone’s schedule but in-person meetings are the strongest bonding you can create! Here are 4 ideas we think you might like

For Foodies: Brunch Day

The most casual way to get to know a person is doing food crawling together. Who can say no to a laid-back brunch with a couple of champagnes? Find good food spots on Yelp and create a Food Map where you and your girls can food crawl stress-free!

For Adventurers: Mountain Climbing

Going for some outdoor excitements! Whether it is mountain climbing, swimming, or biking, any type of sport can create instant boundings. It would be an awesome idea to have do a Bachelorette Party where you and the girls go hike in a national park. We guarantee it will be some bomb-quality bonding time!

For ‘Stress Out’ Adults: Wine Tour/Tasting

This is hands down the best, say no more! *sip sip

For Seeker: Learn Something Together

Take a cooking class, painting class, or any class together! Learning and achieving something is definitely a good way to get to know a person.
