You can order up to 3 FREE swatches from Afarose here.

Color analysis is broken up into 3 main categories: Hue, value, and chroma.

  • Hue: cool or warm undertones (even if youre pretty neutral, you will still lean more to one side)
  • Value: light or dark
  • Chroma: soft and muted or bright and clear

To determine what season you are, look to the amount of contrast between your eyes, hair, and skin color.

Your BEST colors will:

  • Create an even and bright skin tone
  • The whites of your eyes will appear more white and bright
  • NOT bring the redness out of your skintone
  • NOT make your skin appear too yellow
  • NOT wash you out
  • NOT over power your face (the color shouldn't be the first thing your eyes notice)
  • NOT bring out your under-eyes or blemishes, the right color will make them seemingly disappear

Generally, the 4 seasons are:

  • Winter: cool, deep, clear
  • Summer: cool, light, soft
  • Autumn: warm, deep, or soft
  • Spring: warm, light, or clear
