I had such a wonderful experience trying on the Marilou gown through Afarose’s Try-at-Home program.From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. The gown is even more beautiful in person than it appears online. The nude lining is warm and flattering, the floral lace has gorgeous texture and detail, and the ruffled skirt and train are incredibly full, soft, and dramatic.As a plus-size bride, I was especially excited to see how beautifully the silhouette worked on my body. Marilou hugged my curves, defined my shape, and still felt romantic and elegant. Even though the try-on sample was not tailored specifically to me, I could clearly see the potential and immediately felt confident that this was the direction I wanted for my ceremony gown.The quality and comfort also stood out to me. I am a 36 E, a over flowing full dd. 14 / 16 dress , size large in athletic every day casual clothes like halara and target. I wear a 16 jean from ae and old navy but could do a 18 for a more loose fight. I knew going into thus id need to order up and have alterations. With my specific hourglass shape I went for a dress I could at least zip up comfortably, which I did in the size 22. However im more narrow at the waist with a ful chest , so I did get it altered in on top and had added straps. This made the day More Comfortable and fit Better. We also took in around the butt area on bottom of behind. It was tailored for fitted and flattering behind. I wanted to show off my curves, I did so that day. I tried dresses from Avery Austin , azazie , and a few other online boutiques, even went to some in person boutiques. What stood apart to me was Afarose quality ,softness and comfortability of their dresses. I knew I wanted a very extravagant, beautiful flowing mermaid with long train dress. This had the most beautiful silhouette. We did a vow renewal ceremony on the beach in michigan. It felt so comfortable, so airy and I felt so beautiful.I highly recommend afarose.com.I will even tell my daughter to shop here when she has her day. Probably took in 7 in on top chest and 3 to 4 under bottom booty to tighten.

Fit like a glove! I loved this dress so much!! I ordered a size 2 and range from a 2- size 6 in dresses but a size 4 in pants with a loose waist but tight in the thighs. Pictures came out beautiful and the train is gorgeous.

Place the tape measure around your neck where your collar would lay. Leave enough room to breathe. The tape should be held comfortably snug against the skin of the neck.
Let your arm rest naturally. Measure around the fullest part of your bicep. Ensure you have a nice snug measurement.
The back length measurement is the vertical distance between the base of the neck and waist. Measure from the back to ensure your tape is flat.
Let your arm relax and rest in a natural position. Your elbow will be slight bent. Measure from the shoulder to elbow and from the elbow to the wrist.
Stand straight with barefoot together. Measure the length from the top of your head to the floor
