Your BIG DAY is definitely about you, but having a fun and memorable night is also a memory your guests can bring back with them to remember. Your guests may consist of your best friends, family, neighbors, and even colleagues; however, they might not be familiar with each other. So…an interactive activity is a good ice breaker for guests who don’t know each other! From classic to creative games, it will surely bring all the laughter and smiles together. Your guest is expecting to have a great time at your reception. Good food and drink, killer wedding music, a lit dance floor, and…reception games! Let dig into that!

Put A Ring On It-Ring Toss:

A super classic *yet fun* game! Instead of your typical bottle and ring toss, put names tags on both ring and bottle with the names of single guests for some matchmaking fun. Bring out the competitive spirit Team Bride & Team Groom. Who is the winner of the night?

Photo Scavenger Hunt:

A digital scavenger hunt. Make a list of “moments” to photograph, i.e., the first dance, newlyweds kiss, group selfie, or even the dancing king/queen of the night. Your friends/guests submit photos can be a perfect way to collect candid and down-to-earth moments! If you want to make this more competitive, announce that you’ll pick up the best photo from all submissions, so you’ll receive photos of good quality! *Hopefully not the moment with your eyes closed.

Bride and Groom Trivia:

Let guests fill out a small sheet with trivia questions about newlyweds. It could be multiple-choice, T/F questions, or fill in the blank. Later on in the reception, the emcee will announce the correct answers, and the person at the table with the correct answers can have a mystery gift to receive.

Throwback College Drinking Games:

Beer pong and flip cup for your casual wedding! Substitute water for beer to ensure everyone can enjoy it *safely*. This is best for casual and chill weddings!

Memory Lane:

Have guests write down the memory with the couple. Let the newlyweds read it out, and let everyone guess who the memory belongs to.

Giant Tic-Tac-Toe:

A universal game that is fun and simple. The XXXL size makes it even more interactive! Don’t forget that xoxo also stands for hugs and kisses.

Ring Hunt:

Just like an Easter egg hunt, instead, it’s a ring hunt! Hide some plastic rings around the party. The guest who gets the most plastic rings gets a prize to take home!

Thumbprint Guest Book:

It’s not really a game, but it’s adorable and interactive! A creative wedding guest book alternatives that are totally memorable. Prepare a few colors of ink pads for guests to sign. *Just be aware if little kids will have a fun time play around with the thumbprint book*

Themed Photobooth:

Who doesn’t like to create a memory? A themed photo booth is fun for all age groups, plus the guest will have something handy to remember your big day! Props we recommend you to provide are pretty floral decoration, a sign that writes both of your initials + wedding date, and even those big mustache props.

The Classic Shoe Game:

It’s a game to test the couple’s knowledge of each other. The newlyweds sit back-to-back in front of the crowd, and each has one of their shoes and one of their partners. The coupled will answer the questions by holding up the shoe that corresponds with their answer. Some questions you can use during this game are 1. Who said I love you first? 2. Who made the first move? 3. Who’s the best driver? 4.Who is in charge of the relationship? 5.Who snores louder?.
