What is an Emergency Kit?
It’s a little bag filled with ‘just in case’ items that will solve all kinds of problems on the wedding day. It could be a real lifesaver for yourself and even your bridesmaids!
What’s in the Bag?
-Fashion Fix
Sewing kit:
A sewing kit comes with mini-scissors, color threads that you need, and needles. Make sure that the color threads are the ones that match the outfit color. We don’t want that weird dash of color showing off in photos.
Fashion tape:
This is a strapless dress’s lifesaver. It’s a two-side adhesive tape that helps you secure the edges of your dress so you don’t get that wardrobe malfunction.
Static guard:
A static guard can help you avoid unwanted clinginess. Don’t be that bride whos going to *electric shock her bridesmaids, guests, and even the groom.
Lint roller:
A Lint roller helps you to remove any fur or hair! A total must if you have four-legged friends. This not only helps if your furry friend has darker fur, but also saves the day for the people around you that may be allergic to animal hair!
Steamer:
With the hot steam that the steamer has, it helps you to remove any wrinkles on your dress. At the end of the day, who doesn’t want a flawless and smooth bridal dress?
Sole inserts for feet:
Standing on your feet for your big day is tiresome for your feets and legs. When it hits the end of the day, you’ll feel sore for sure! With sole inserts, it helps you gain support and comfort that you can still make it to the dance party at night.
Anti-blister stick:
Best practice with new heels is to wear them a few times before your big day so you don’t get those painful blisters. However, if you still want to wear your new heels, remember to swipe some blister sticks to avoid having painfully killing toes in the middle of the day.
-Oops Fix
Tide to go pen:
To avoid any stains from food or beverage that may stick on your dress, keep a tide to go pen for instant stain removal!
Safety pins:
Accidentally made a small tear when you were wearing your dress or dancing off on the dance floor? Safety pins can give you a quick first on your small tear or reattach the straps.
Superglue:
For broken high heels, a super glue can come to the rescue! It saves you from becoming bare foot during your wedding!
Baby wipes/Tissue:
For those happy tears, don’t smudge it with your fingers. You might wipe away the hard work that your makeup artist has done for you! By using soft tissue, it eliminates the chance that your tears are wearing away your mascara.
Makeup remover wipes:
A day full of eating, laughing, and talking, you will need a reedo on the lips or anywhere! The ingredients in a makeup remover can gently remove a bit of your makeup without destroying the look. And no, don’t even think about damping tissue in water and try to retouch your look.
Earring back:
You might be wearing something old from your grandma’s wedding earring. Secure it with an earring back in case you lose it throughout the day!
Floss:
Don’t let that little letture piece ruin your wedding photos! Having a floss with you will save those awkward wedding-photo moments.
Deodorant:
Finally marrying your life partner is indeed a happy yet nervous feeling to have. If you are a bride who would typically sweat a lot, a deodorant can save you from unwanted smells and even sweat marks that may appear.
Tampons:
When the day of the month comes out of nowhere (we understand that due to all the crazy preparation you might have delayed periods), a tampon is your life savior.
Spare underwear:
...don’t ask why.
Clear nail polish:
Yes you didn’t hear us wrong. Clear nail polish can save your stocking run. It works like this: apply the nail polish around the hole, move outward til you are about a quarter-inch from the edge of the hole. Then wait for the polish to dry and harden out, ultimately the hole can be sealed.
-First Aid
Painkiller:
If you like to be extra sure that you’ll be mentally and physically well through your entire *Big day, prepare your meds like painkillers and allergy medicine in advance.
Eye drops:
Prepare these just for it’s usual purpose-moisture your eyes if they become dry and tired. But, with eye drops, they also serve as the secret to sparkling eyes.
Band aids:
You never know what will happen! Prepare some bandaids so you're not paranoid if things happen.
